Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about The Glitch Store.
Do you store request payloads?+
No. Payloads are streamed through the proxy and never persisted. We log metadata only.
What is The Glitch Store?+
The Glitch Store is an API marketplace where developers can discover, test, and integrate APIs. We handle authentication, billing, and account visibility so you can focus on building.
How does pricing work?+
We use a credit-based system. You purchase credits ($0.01 per credit) and each API call deducts a set number of credits based on the API you use.
Are there monthly subscriptions?+
No. We use pay-as-you-go pricing with no monthly minimums, no hidden fees, and no commitments. Buy credits when you need them.
How do API keys work?+
After signing up, generate an API key from your dashboard. Include it in the x-api-key header of your requests to the secure proxy. Your key authenticates you and enables credit deduction.
What happens if I run out of credits?+
API calls will return a 402 (Payment Required) error. You can purchase more credits from the billing page at any time.
Is there a free tier?+
There is no recurring free tier. You can create an account, explore the marketplace, and use the playground flow before you top up credits.
How do I request a new API?+
Visit the Marketplace page and use the API request form. We review every request and prioritize based on demand.
Can I get a refund?+
Credits are generally non-refundable. If you think a charge was incorrect, contact support and we’ll review the billing activity and refund request status.
Is my data secure?+
Yes. API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, passwords are hashed with industry-standard algorithms, and all database tables have row-level security policies. We use HTTPS everywhere.
How do I contact support?+
